Tip #2: Mix and Match
Having trouble coming up with meals ideas for the week? I love making easy recipes but again, I am lazy and sometimes need something EVEN simpler. ⠀⠀

When making a list of foods for the week, a good place to start is by choosing three types of protein, three types of carbohydrate, and three types of non-starchy vegetables.🍗🥩🥚🥔🍞🍚🌶🥦🍅 ⠀⠀⠀

Cook them up and then mix and match the different foods throughout the week. (See photos!) To make things even easier, buy bulk of the same protein, carbs, and veggies and cook them all differently. Buy chicken and marinate it in different sauces, prepare sweet potatoes mashed, sauteed on the stove top, and baked, and use your veggies raw and cooked to add variety. No one likes bland food so make sure to use ALL the spices to keep things yummy and interesting. Excellent fat sources to have on hand include oil-based salad dressings, avocados, and nuts which can also really add flavor to any dish.
